High they stand,
Maintaining the country’s pride.
Lush trees add to the beauty,
Etiolated trees make it look greasy.
Green leaves they shed
Making the ground look luscious .
Draped in snow and frost they stand
They bless us with resources,
They are just so grand.
In return we give them love and care
They are known for the cruelties they bare.
They believe in giving
But is it correct that we believe in only taking?
To protect the trees is what we should pledge
And make sure it’s never brought to an edge.
A mixture of contradictions it is
But we still love our Earth for what it is.
To protect it ,is what we should pledge
To save it what we should promise
To develop is what we should yield for
Cause it is our mother , earth’s day!
